Playa Blanca Lanzarote
Probably now regarded as the most family friendly resort, and
where there is the greatest choice of top quality holiday villa
accommodation. Holiday villas in Playa Blanca tend to come with
everything a family would need, and you can choose from 2 bedrooms
to 4 bedrooms in size, and even bigger if required.
The most popular areas of the resort are probably the Montana
Roja and Faro Park areas to the south of the town, and Las
Coloradas and
Marina Rubicon areas slightly to the north. There is also
plenty of choice of Lanzarote villa developments in the centre of
Playa Blanca, although these villas tend to be smaller, slightly
older, and may offer a communal pool, rather than a private pool.
On the other hand, you won't necessarily need a car as you can walk
to beaches and restaurants in 5 miniutes or so.
Puerto del Carmen Lanzarote
Holidays
in Puerto del Carmen tend to be based on either hotel, holiday
apartment, or private villa. The hotels and apartments are
mainly clustered around the central areas of the resort and near
the Avenida de las Playas, the long road that adjoins the town's 6
kilometre wide beach. Very handy, especially if you are not
planning to drive whilst on holiday!
Puerto del Carmen offers a great choice of Lanzarote villas as
well. Some of these can be found in the Old Town close to the
centre, but others are slightly further away in areas like Los
Mojones, Los Pocillos and Matagorda. Though the location may
seem a bit less convenient for the main town, the areas are
exclusive, quiet, and offer a great choice of luxury villas, many
in elevated positions with stunning views.
